Crypto Calendar November 2026
Crypto News

Key Takeaways

  1. There is no Fed rate decision in November 2026. The FOMC meets October 27 to 28 and again December 8 to 9. November's Fed dates are data releases, the October meeting minutes on November 18, and the Beige Book on November 25.

  2. The November 3 US midterm elections are the biggest regulatory date of the month. The CLARITY Act stalled in the Senate in September, while the OCC has said it aims to finalize its main GENIUS Act stablecoin rule in November.

  3. Token unlock numbers differ between trackers, sometimes by a lot. Ethena, Sui, MemeCore, Hyperliquid, Aptos, and Arbitrum all have scheduled releases in November, but you should confirm the date, the amount, and even the year before relying on any list.

How to Use This Calendar

This guide groups November 2026's scheduled events into four areas: Fed and macro data, regulation, token unlocks, and Bitcoin ETF flows.

  • Current as of October 26, 2026. Dates can move, and new events will appear.

  • US times are Eastern Time (ET). For UTC+8, add 13 hours after US clocks change on November 1.

  • A scheduled event is not a prediction. This calendar explains what is happening and why people watch it, not how markets will react.

Where policy stands going into November

The Fed's target range is 3.75% to 4.00% after a 25 basis point increase on September 16, according to FinanceFeeds and The Crypto Times. In a Reuters poll of 100 economists taken October 16 to 20, 94 expected a hold on October 28 and all 100 expected an increase in December.

Those are expectations, not outcomes. The October 28 decision will be known before November starts, so read the official statement.

Why crypto readers watch these dates

Bitcoin is now held through ETFs by traditional investors, so it reacts to the same news as other risk assets. Inflation and jobs data shape interest rate expectations, which is why crypto trading activity often picks up around 8:30 AM ET on data days.

The FOMC minutes are not a rate decision. Released about three weeks after each meeting, they show how members debated and where they disagreed.

What is the blackout period?

Fed officials generally stop speaking publicly about policy from the second Saturday before a meeting until the day after it ends. For the December 8 to 9 meeting, that points to a start around November 28. After that date, expect fewer Fed speeches until December 10.

Regulatory Calendar

November 3: US midterm elections

All 435 House seats and roughly one third of Senate seats are on the ballot. The next Congress will oversee the SEC, CFTC, OCC, and Treasury and decide which crypto bills get hearings. Early October polling cited by edgeX pointed toward a Democratic House, with the Senate seen as competitive. Treat such odds as estimates.

CLARITY Act: stalled, not finished

The CLARITY Act is the main US crypto market structure bill. It would divide oversight of digital assets between the SEC and CFTC. According to law firm Orrick:

  • The House passed it on July 17, 2025, by a vote of 294 to 134.

  • On September 15, 2026, a Senate cloture vote failed 49 to 50, short of the 60 votes needed.

  • Disputes centered on ethics rules for officials' crypto holdings and on whether stablecoins can pay yield.

Passage this Congress is widely viewed as unlikely, but a vote to reconsider remains possible. Any movement after the election would come in the "lame duck" session, the period before the new Congress is seated in January.

GENIUS Act: rules taking shape

The GENIUS Act, signed in July 2025, created a federal framework for payment stablecoins. Agencies missed the original July 18, 2026 rulemaking deadline. The Comptroller of the Currency said the OCC aims to finalize its main rule by November, with no specific day announced. The law takes effect on January 18, 2027, or 120 days after final rules are issued, whichever comes first.

A date that moved: Mt. Gox

Many older calendars still list October 31, 2026 as the Mt. Gox repayment deadline. On October 16, the trustee announced, with court permission, a new deadline of October 31, 2027. Blockhead reported that about 34,000 BTC remained in estate wallets. This is a good reminder to check the most recent official notice.

Token Unlocks in November 2026

A token unlock is a scheduled release of tokens that were previously locked, often for teams, investors, or ecosystem funds. The table below lists notable November releases. All figures are tracker estimates.

Insiders and investors

Why trackers disagree

Sui is the clearest example. CryptoTicker found three trackers listing three different dates, with amounts about ten times apart. Common causes:

  • Different sources. Trackers read project documents, onchain contracts, or both.

  • Different bases. Percentages may use total, released, or circulating supply.

  • Timing. Releases tied to blocks or epochs can fall on different days by time zone.

  • Stale lists. While researching, we found a "November unlocks" list that was actually November 2025 data. Always check the year.

How to check an unlock yourself

  1. Open the project's official tokenomics page.

  2. Compare at least two trackers, such as Tokenomist, DefiLlama, Tokenomics.com, or CryptoRank.

  3. Note the recipient group. Investor releases differ from community rewards.

  4. Compare the amount with circulating supply and daily trading volume.

  5. Watch the vesting contract on a block explorer near the date.

An unlock makes tokens transferable. It does not prove they will be sold.

Bitcoin ETF Flows: What to Watch in November

Where flows stand

Since launching in January 2024, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have gathered more than $57 billion in cumulative net inflows and hold over $100 billion in assets, according to The Block. In 2026, a DWF Labs analyst quoted by 24/7 Wall St. counted 93 outflow days out of 190 through early October, yet the year still showed about $1.2 billion in net inflows.

October was choppy. About $636 million left the funds on October 22, the largest daily outflow since June, one day after roughly $528 million came in.

Fund (issuer)

October net flow, through Oct 22

IBIT (BlackRock)

+$865.3 million

MSBT (Morgan Stanley)

+$26.3 million

BITB (Bitwise)

-$68.4 million

GBTC (Grayscale)

-$130.8 million

ARKB (ARK and 21Shares)

-$314.6 million

FBTC (Fidelity)

-$556.9 million

All funds

-$174.5 million

How to read daily flow numbers

  • Net flow is money entering a fund minus money leaving it. A positive number means more shares were created than redeemed.

  • Timing lags. Daily totals are compiled after the US market close and are often finalized the next morning.

  • Holidays matter. There will be no ETF flows on Thanksgiving, November 26, and a shortened session on November 27.

  • One day is not a trend. Weekly and monthly totals give better context than a single headline.
