Coinbase NFT Marketplace Goes Live
Coinbase launched its beta metaverse on Wednesday, six months after the cryptocurrency exchange made an announcement. “This product is more than just buying and selling, it is about building your community,” Sanchan Saxena, Coinbase vice president of product, said. The beta version is only accessible to a small group of users from a waiting list of three million.
ApeCoin Price Surges at BAYC Metaverse Rumors
ApeCoin's price has been rallying amidst a bearish crypto market, reaching all-time highs. Bored Ape owner, Renegademaster, tweeted a rumor that Yuga Labs, the developers behind Bored Ape Yacht Club, is pushing for public land sale in their metaverse called The Otherside. The land would cost around 600 ApeCoins - an equivalent of about $10,000 at the time of writing.
Porsche Dealership Accepts DOGE and Shiba Inu.
Porsche Towson, an independent Porsche dealership based in Baltimore in the US, now accepts DOGE and Shiba Inu as payment for vehicles. Porsche Towson partnered with Bitpay, a bitcoin payment service provider, to accept cryptocurrency as payment. The dealership also accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum.
