ApeCoin Integrates With Polygon, Craig Wright Sues Kraken And Coinbase, OKX Partners With F1 McLaren

ApeCoin Integrates with Polygon
ApeCoin, created by Yuga Labs, has announced its integration with the Polygon Network, a decentralized Ethereum scaling platform. That comes as a response to the backlash Yuga Labs received after releasing Otherdeeds (like title deeds) for Otherside, their metaverse virtual land sale, on the 30th of April.
The Otherdeeds NFT Land sold in a couple of hours and grossed over $300 million in sales via the minting of 55000 plots of NFT land. However, Yuga Labs received negative feedback due to the high gas fees required to mint the NFTs. It cost over $100 million worth of Ethereum gas fees to mint the collection. “It seems abundantly clear that ApeCoin will need to migrate to its chain to properly scale,” Yuga Labs tweeted.
On Tuesday, the company announced its integration with Polygon. ApeCoin is now available to 19,000 decentralized apps and games across the Polygon ecosystem. Polygon is a layer two solution for scaling the Ethereum blockchain. It aims to make transactions cheaper and faster.
Craig Wright Sues Kraken and Coinbase
Dr. Craig Wright, an Australian computer scientist, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, is suing cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbase and Kraken for passing-off fake Bitcoin to consumers. The claim accuses the cryptocurrency exchanges of not conforming to the systems and standards described in the whitepaper.
“BTC is not in any way related to the system I set out in my Bitcoin Whitepaper, which I released in 2008. BTC Core engineers have significantly altered the code to a point where it is not, and cannot be considered Bitcoin,” said Dr. Wright. He said that the claim is about protecting consumers from fraud and deception. The global law firm, Ontier LLP, filed his claim form with the English High Court.

In a rapidly evolving field, OKX is a long-established crypto brand that brings innovation, analytics, and accuracy to accomplish great things,” said Zack Brown, the CEO of McLaren Racing.
Their partnership will debut at the first-ever Miami Grand Prix on the 8th of May. McLaren plans to collaborate with OKX to take the fans' experience to all-new levels.
