INTRODUCTION TO THE ICE DECENTRALIZED NETWORK($ICE).

We live in a modern age, quickly turning to digital while aiding social life. It connects everyone through the internet and is now soon to become blockchain. However, the centralized nature of most popular social platforms has given rise to many issues that challenge the essence of personal freedom and privacy. This is where the ICE DECENTRALIZED NETWORK comes into the picture. $ICE has come to ensure and return trust and transparency to the social community of the digital age through decentralization.

TON Background: The Origin ICE DECENTRALIZED NETWORK($ICE)..

The TON(Telegram Open Network) is a high-speed, scalable, and secure blockchain platform. It was designed by Telegram’s team lead- Dr Nikolai Durov.  Despite being a great project, unfortunately, it was discontinued due to regulatory issues.

TON became a target to build ION(Ice Open Network) on because of its unique multi-threaded and multi-shard architecture. This allows it to process millions of transactions per second, making it one of the fastest blockchain in existence. The TON virtual machine(TVM) supports a variety of programming languages that can be used to create complex decentralized applications(dApps).

THE FORK: Creation of ION(Ice Open Network).

Despite the impressive features on the TON blockchain, the Ice Network team recognized that there were areas in the TON blockchain that could be improved. That was the genesis of the Ice Open Network, created as a fork of the TON blockchain.

    By enhancing the TON blockchain, the ION has added these key features;

  1. IceID: A decentralized digital identity that allows verified and trusted users to interact with decentralized applications within the ION ecosystem
  2. Decentralized social media connect- IceConnect: this helps to reduce centralization and censorship on social media by giving control over information to the users of the network.
  3. Decentralization Proxy and Content Delivery Network- IceNet.
  4. Decentralized storage vault- IceVault.
  5. Decentralized Database- IceQuery.

Conclusion.

vision is to reshape the digital landscape into a decentralized, participatory, and user-driven ecosystem, where every individual has unwavering control and ownership of their data and identity, and is incentivized for their active participation and genuine content creation. By integrating these features into a single, scalable blockchain infrastructure capable of handling millions of requests per second and catering to billions of users, the Ice Open Network aims to provide a comprehensive solution for decentralized applications, data management, and digital identity. This positions ION at the forefront of a new, user-centric digital landscape.
